On that website, you can create some web pages to describe each of your products elaboratively. But you shouldn’t, and no one does, keep web pages regarding different products on the same website. So, for example, if you have another business of cellphone covers, you should create a different website for that.

Or, you can make it your core website where you promote all types of products you sell. So, for example, you can place a web page regarding skincare and a web page regarding cellphone covers on separate sections of that website.

A web page itself is content on a website. Other contents include videos, static images, etc.


You can find a website by searching its domain name. You’ve to buy these names from hosts such as Bluehost, Hostinger, GoDaddy, Ionos, Hostgator, DreamHost, etc. The most widely used domain names include “.com” or “.net”, universities use “.edu” or “.uni”, NGOs use “.org”, and so on.

Web pages are found by Uniform Resource Locator (URL), and each web page has a unique location on the web. So you’ve to write the address on the search bar of your web browser.

The basic structure of a URL begins with http:// and then your website’s domain name, port, path to the document you’re looking for, the parameters, and finally, some bookmark or keyword mentioned somewhere in your web page or document.

Then, of course, you’ve to search for a website address as a URL as well. But a website can have only one unique URL while different web pages can have the same name, but they must be located in the same document. A registration page, a contact page, an about page, etc. are example of web pages.


Web page URLs can have different extensions like HyperText Markup Language (HTML), PHP: HyperText Processor, etc. These are programming languages that make a web page displayable on the website. On the other hand, websites don’t come with extensions.


As mentioned before, a web page URL includes a mandatory part of the website’s domain name. It means if your website is down, your web page can’t be found. On the opposite, you can remove any web page from your website, and it will continue to work just as before.
